Recognizing the value of natural habitats and preserving our resources is a core principle of Natucate's work. For several years they have been working with various conservation projects around the world that value responsible travel and the preservation of our planet's biodiversity.

They specialize in volunteer projects, educational programs, internships and sabbaticals with a focus on nature, conservation, ecotourism and special adventure travel. The primary concern is to offer only those projects and programs that are entirely in line with the company's philosophy and thus meet high sustainability standards. Natucate is therefore opposed to animal rearing projects and those that allow direct interaction with wild animals. They were the first German provider to be recommended as an ethical volunteer agency by the Campaign Against Canned Hunting (CACH).

Further, Natucate works with conservation non-profits to help them implement meaningful conservation projects through strategic planning, organizational measurement, training and mentoring.

I offer some of my private safaris in proud cooperation with Natucate.

Matthias and I first met in 2021, during a safari. We were immediately on the same wavelength thanks to our shared passion for wildlife and formed a close friendship during that time.

During this two-week safari we explored the Okavango Delta together and I also got to observe Matthias at his craft - photography. In all the time I got to spend in the wilderness of our planet, I have never experienced a photographer who has such a phenomenal eye for animal photography.

By the way, most of the sensational animal pictures on my website are where taken by Matthias.

In his opinion, the best animal pictures are created when the natural behavior of the animal is captured in their natural environment - wild and free. This is how his pictures are created, which also visually tell and conserve experiences.

Some say he is an adventurer - he prefers to call himself "more curious than average". Ever since his trip from Alaska to Argentina, his wanderlust has never left him. When he is not traveling somewhere in the world, he tries to discover the secrets of the flora and fauna in his home country, Switzerland.
